Parade Info and Reunion Update!

PARADE INFORMATION
We want everyone from '93 to ride on the float in the parade on the 24th!  Let's show Spanish Fork the pride of 1993! 

We will meet in the parade staging area at Diamond Fork Junior High at 8:30 am on the 24th.  We will have a truck and trailer in the junior high east parking lot.  We are parade entry #37.

The Junior High address is:  50 N 900 E. It is easiest to access the parking lot from about 1000 East Center St. 

We want everyone to wear a red shirt to show school spirit and to just look awesome!  If you would like a SFHS "rock solid" t-shirt to wear, you can purchase one at the highschool during their regular school hours at the Finance Office. If you already have a red highschool t-shirt of any kind (even from 1993) wear it! 

REUNION UPDATE
If you have procrastinated the day of your registration that's okay.  You have until the 17th to get it done.  There are a lot of people already registered, so a great time is guaranteed.  To register just follow the instructions on the previous post.  If you have any questions or problems just leave a comment and I will help you.  We can't wait to see everyone there.  We know there are lots of you for one reason or another can't make it, and we will miss seeing all of you.  For the rest of you that haven't registered yet...get to it!  We want to see you there!

The reunion plans are in place!  We hope you have all saved the date and booked your airline tickets.  Now here are your assignments 1,2,3

Provo Riverside Country Club

We will be visiting and reconnecting with classmates, taking a look back in time, and enjoying a lovely dinner. The dinner menu will include:
The Club's Grand Buffet
Tossed Salad
Roast Turkey with Stuffing
Sliced Beef in Madiera Sauce
Baked Halibut and Salmon
Mashed Potatoes
Steamed Mixed Vegetables
Fresh Rolls
Dessert with a buffet of cakes, mousses, cheesecake and cookies.
Cash Bar

#2 Pay

The cost is $50 per person.  Payments will be received through a paypal account set up for the reunion by our trusty officer Jared Johnson. You must follow these instructions for payment to ensure everything goes smoothly.  Be sure to PAY BEFORE JUNE 30, after that the price goes up $5.00

1.  Go to www.paypal.com
2.  Create a new account or login to your existing account.
3.  Click "Send Money" tab at top.
4.  In the "to" box type sfhs1993@gmail.com (this is the reunion account run by Jared)
5.  Amount is $50.00 per person, so type in the total amount for everyone you are paying for.
6.  In the "what are you sending money for?" BE SURE to click "I'm sending money to family & friends"!!!  Otherwise you will owe us an additional $3.20. 
7.  Click "Continue"
You will now see what looks like a receipt with an email beneath it. You must fill out the email portion correctly so we know who you are and who will be attending.
8.  In the email subject line, change the subject to say "Reunion $"
9.  In the email message box, change the text to be the names of those you are paying for to attend.  If you are paying for yourself and a guest include the guest's name as well as your own (please include maiden names too if applicable).


#3 Participate

We want you to be part of the reunion.  Please send us photos.  We want good pictures from highschool you have, as well as pictures of your current life.  We would like to see where we all came from and where we are now.  This will be a lot of fun, but we will need your help.

As you send your photos to Justin, please also send him your current contact information and updates so that we can keep track of everyone!

 

Spread the Word.  Please share the link to this blog with anyone from our class.  There are people who are not on facebook or in the blogosphere and we don't want to miss anyone, so please let everyone from '93 know!

Awesome Homecoming Assembly!

Thanks to everyone who came to the homecoming assembly today. It was a huge success and so fun to see some people from the past.  Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to plan and execute such a fun walk down memory lane.
For all of you who couldn't make it, we missed you.  But, don't worry we will get to reunite again next summer for the big reunion and the parade.  Mark your calendars and save the date for July 20, 2013 for the reunion to be held at the Provo Riverside Country Club.
Please click the link on the right to follow this blog and you will automatically get an email each time the blog is updated.  That is a good way to ensure you won't miss out on any information.  Also, email, phone, nag, bother, beg anyone you have contact with from the class of 1993 to check the blog and become a follower as well.  We want to get EVERY class member to the reunion!

Homecoming Football Game Invite

Everyone is invited to attend the homecoming football game on Friday night.  We will have a section of seats set aside so everyone can sit together.  The game starts at 7:00 and SF plays Carbon.  Alumni of 1993 can get in for free, but spouses and kids will need to pay.  The cost is $5 for adults and $4 for kids, or a family pass for $20.  We hope everyone can come and cheer on the Dons and reunite for some highschool fun!

Homecoming is right around the corner!!

Hey class of 1993! Once again we hope you are all getting excited for the 20 year reunion events. Here are some more details.  The Homecoming assembly is just 9 days away.  We hope you are all planning to attend.  September 21, 2012 at 9:00 am at the highschool. This is what is going on then:

Several short skits on TV shows. The skits will spotlight teachers still there (Extreme Makeover), AFV (a movie about our day), ESPN (competitions alumni Vs. young ones) Project Runway (young ones wearing our stuff), SFF News (crowning new royalty) and more. We have a place for everyone at the end doing So You Think you can Dance (a flash mob of the electric slide).

Everyone attending the Homecoming assembly should wear red on that day.

There will be a rehearsal (catch-up session) the night before at 7:00 pm.

And (drumroll please...) the big reunion is announced:
Provo Riverside Country Club, next July 20, 2013.

Can you believe it has been 20 years?! Let's celebrate and reunite for the grand occasion.  All classmates from 1993 are wanted to attend the homecoming assembly.  Let's show those class of 2013 students just how awesome we are.  Don't you think they need a good laugh like we got back in highschool attending the homecoming assemblies and seeing all the really old people who still thought they were super cool.
